中国科学技术协会编著的《针灸学学科发展报告(2011-2012)》以针灸学科各个学术领域为框架，由中国针灸学会各个专业委员会牵头编写专题报告，分别总结针灸学科建设中的突出成绩、学术研究中取得的*新成果与进展，比较国内、国外针灸学科发展的差异，从而进一步明确本学科发展方向和战略需求。本报告设立专章重点报告了“十一五”期间针灸新建学科和发展较快的领域，如循证针灸学、针灸康复医学、针刀医学、针灸标准化，显示了针灸学科不断发展的热点和亮点。
