作者简介

裴大卫(DavidPickus)出生于美国芝加哥,2013年移居中国,目前为浙江大学的“国际组织与国际发展项目”授课。1995年,他于芝加哥大学取得德国史博士学位。之后,他先后赴詹姆斯 · 麦迪逊大学和亚利桑那州立大学教授历史和人文学科相关课程。在此期间,大卫在塞尔维亚的贝尔格莱德居住了一年。来杭州之前,他于2013年至2017年在中国人民大学教授世界历史。除了记录对中国的印象,大卫还致力于中欧和东欧历史、犹太文化以及高等教育全球化的学术研究。他酷爱旅游,喜欢探索未知领域,也喜欢以全新视角解读他所熟悉的地方。
