所谓“国际商业”，是指跨越一个主权国家或单独关税区边界的商业活动。国际商业行为可以包括国际贸易和对外投资、国际制造和国际营销，以及其他跨界商业流程和职能，本书旨在为方便学习和理解国际商业环境要素提供一本教材。
    本书重点放在规制和／或促进国际商业行为的国际商业环境中的政府要素和政府间要素：
 (1)辨识、定义并讨论了影响国际商业企业运作的国际商业环境要素；
 (2)介绍了对理解这些要素起到核心作用的关键术语和概念；  (3)解释了这些基本要素的底层概念和原则。
