作者简介

凡尔纳，本名儒勒·凡尔纳（1828～1905）生于法国西部海港南特。法国小说家，科幻小说的开创者之一。他的父亲是位优秀的律师，一心希望凡尔纳能子承父业。凡尔纳在18岁时遵父嘱去巴黎攻读法律，但他对法律毫无兴趣，却爱上了文学和戏剧。
1863年，凡尔纳开始发表科学幻想冒险小说，以总名称为《在已知和未知的世界中奇异的漫游》一举成名。代表作为三部曲：《格兰特船长的儿女》、《海底两万里》、《神秘岛》。
凡尔纳被人们称赞为“科学时代的预言家”。凡尔纳逝世时，人们对他作了恰如其分的评价：“他既是科学家中的文学家，又是文学家中的科学家。”凡尔纳正是把科学与文学巧妙结合的大师。
