本书特点:
(一)创新性。本教材采用全新的教材编写体例。传统的跨文化沟通教材都是按知识点划分的,注重理论知识的讲述,而这本教材是基于工作过程的项目化教材,以工作过程导向为指导设计内容体系,按项目划分,项目下面有具体工作任务,而且工作任务又以具体跨文化沟通问题的形式提出的。要完成这些工作任务,除了应该掌握跨文化沟通基础知识外,还要求学生必须发挥学习的主动性和积极性,通过对资料的理解和把握,灵活运用知识,完整地解答跨文化沟通的问题。
(二)实用性。由于本教材主要面向涉外经贸和旅游等专业高职高专层次的学生,因此,在编写本教材时,我们按照“必需和够用”的原则,以项目任务的模式为框架,根据实际工作场景设计项目情境,包括如何与外国人打招呼、如何赠送礼品、如何谈判等,为学生提供可借鉴的技能标准。
(三)通俗性。本教材努力把深奥的跨文化沟通理论通俗易懂地介绍给读者。通俗即要求用通俗的语言,力求简明扼要,避免“简而不明、俗而不精、易而不全”的弊端;易懂是用鲜明、浅显、生动、活泼的案例为导引,循序渐进,让学生在轻松快乐中学到跨文化沟通基础知识,掌握跨文化沟通基本技能。
(四)时代性。随着全球化的发展,各国文化和礼仪受到全球化的影响而发生了深刻变化。本教材根据各地区文化的变迁和发展设计项目内容,了解在涉外交往中跨文化沟通的技能演变,包括时间观念、价值观念、空间、非语言交际等内容,有助于学生及时调适跨文化沟通技能。
