Thomas Misco 托马斯?米斯科瑙斯家族基金学者，迈阿密大学社会研究教育学教授，研究生部主任，本科毕业于威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校，后在艾奥瓦大学取得硕士及博士学位。米斯科教授的主要研究方向为跨文化语境中的争议性问题讨论及在属于美国未合并领土的地区的公民教育，曾在中国、关岛、日本、拉脱维亚、罗马尼亚、塞班和韩国等地开展研究工作。曾获奖项：迈阿密大学杰出学者奖，富布赖特高级专家奖，理查德?T. 德尔普杰出学者奖。已出版著作：《争议性问题教学的跨文化个案研究》（2014年）。
